Santo Domingo.-Posters and billboards promoting the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Abel Martinezare being destroyed, as denounced this Wednesday by a representation of the Campaign Committee of the PLD In training.
According to the statement posted on the PLD account on Instagram @pldenline, the posters and billboards that present the photograph of Martínez with the slogan “Whoever Changes a City, Changes a Country”, woke up smeared with red paint, while other posters were broken and destroyed. However, the PLD did not specify the exact places where the events occurred.
The PLD says that the damage against the promotional billboards of its presidential candidate is done “by sectors that refuse to accept his solid position in the electorate, as confirmed by national voters.”
