On Friday, November 29, relatives of journalist and leader Carlos Julio Rojas reported that visits to the activist in El Helicoide were suspended, after the vigil held for the freedom of political prisoners in front of the detention center. This Saturday the sister of journalist Luis López made a similar complaint
The sister journalist Luis López, reported that visits to his family member were suspended. She stated that the measure was taken after she participated in a prayer for the freedom of all political prisoners on November 28 at El Helicoide, headquarters of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin).
The woman published a video on social networks in which she indicates that she took López’s grandchildren to see him and they couldn’t. They are “his life,” he said.
Last Thursday, Mary López participated – along with other relatives of political prisoners – in a vigil in which they prayed and demanded that Nicolás Maduro release all political prisoners.
“We want a free country, Lord, give us that gift, Father. We don’t want Christmas without our family members. Give him freedom, Father, I ask you. “Amen,” he exclaimed through tears.
On Friday, November 29, relatives of journalist and leader Carlos Julio Rojas also reported that visits to the activist in El Helicoide were suspended, after the vigil held for the freedom of political prisoners in front of the detention center.

According to the complaint set out in the communicator’s X account, his right to a telephone call was suspended and his wife was denied access to the premises.
“In Venezuela it is now a crime to pray for the freedom of political prisoners. It is not fair that because of a vigil that was held in El Helicoide, to call for the freedom of all, because they are innocent and all political prisoners must be free, in response the Sebin suspended the visit to the wife of Carlos Rojas, who “Now he is incommunicado,” the publication denounced.
In the same publication, Nicolás Maduro was urged to “listen more to the relatives of political prisoners,” since “those who give orders in penitentiary centers do not help him, they harm him more.”
Journalist Carlos Julio Rojas has been detained since April 15 after being accused, according to Attorney General Tarek William Saab, of the crimes of terrorism, attempted assassination and other crimes.
