Since Tuesday, December 3, it was known that visits for political prisoners in Tocorón, Yare III and Tocuyito were brought forward.
In the morning hours of this Thursday, December 5, relatives of political prisoners reported that during the early hours of the morning a massive transfer of detainees took place from the Yare III prison to Tocorón, in the state of Aragua. It is estimated that there are about 190 people who would have been taken to the aforementioned detention center in at least 11 buses that entered the prison premises empty.
On social networks, they spread videos of the units entering the Tocorón prison. To find out what was happening, the relatives decided to follow the transport units to find out the destination.
The Venezuelan Prisons Observatory (OVP) reports that the mothers of the political prisoners shouted at their children to be strong and asked them to tell others that their mothers were outside. Apparently, those who are taken to Aragua are from Anzoátegui, Miranda and Portuguesa.

However, for relatives of political prisoners held in Tocuyito, prison officials were not accepting personal hygiene items that had already been authorized by the Ministry of Penitentiary Service.
Although ministerial authorities have confirmed that inmates have the right to receive these items, prison officials have refused to comply with this provision, claiming that they have the final say within the prison.
