For the alleged use of state assets for political purposes, lawyer Ernesto Cedeño filed a complaint against Vice President José Gabriel Carrizo before the Administration Attorney’s Office.

The complaint is based on the alleged use of a National Aeronaval Service helicopter for alleged political activity and covers those who are involved in the use of this public good.
“In my opinion, there was a violation of article 25 of the Code of Ethics, which indicates that State assets cannot be used for political purposes,” said the jurist, pointing out that for violations of the Code of Ethics, sanctions, fines and even dismissals or suspension from office.
Earlier, the pre-candidate for the presidency for 2024, Francisco Carreira, said that this situation merits the dismissal of the position and that if it is overlooked, it is a clear disadvantage for an independent or member of another party to compete with the party in power that uses the assets. state for their own benefit.
