The Bogotá councilor, Jorge Colmenares, denounced the extortion and threats that the inhabitants of the town of Rafael Uribe Uribe are suffering, apparently from the criminal group called ‘Clan del Golfo’, which through videos showing weapons, grenades and ammunition, the criminals intimidate the residents.
According to the councillor, This situation shows how citizens end up in the middle of the war between criminal groups, which seek to control the sale of drugs in the town.being allies with armed groups, which would ratify the presence of these criminals in the urban area of the capital.
“For several days they have circulated through social networks and groups of residents of the San Jorge and Marco Fidel Suarez neighborhoods, in the south of Bogotá, the videos in which an alleged criminal in the area is mentioned who threatens to kill and “pocket” those who are in public areas dealing with drugs“, he mentioned.
