Administrators and community members of the municipality of HainaSan Cristóbal province, specifically Duarte, reported a “police excess“, a situation that, they allege, is affecting their businesses and social life in the district.
Through written statements, they said that there is a situation of anxiety caused by agents of the National Police before midnight, when the drug sales businesses alcoholic beverages They must close their doors to the public.
They pointed out that the agents launch tear gas bombs and ride unnecessary operations as if they were in pursuit of dangerous criminals.
The complainants drew the attention of the interior minister and Police, Faride Raful, in order to put a stop to the situation that is harming their businesses and the right to recreation of the community.
They assured that in other municipalities the Police limit themselves to guaranteeing the public order since the establishments do not violate the established schedule of operation.
