Carlos Rivera Paza lawyer from the Legal Defense Institute (IDL) warned through his social networks that the group close to fujimorismo The resistance would have carried out, again, acts of harassment against the high command of different state entities, such as the National Election Jury (JNE) and ONPE.
In the message, the lawyer stated: “The members of the cell called La Resistencia have perpetrated new criminal acts of harassment against Jorge Salas (president of the JNE) and Piero Corvetto (head of the ONPE).” These statements were issued after it became known that the radical group had gone to the exterior of the home of Salas Arenas to shout insults against the official.
Rivera also called on the prosecution asking that the corresponding denunciations be carried out before the members of the aggressive group. Besides, criticized the performance of the National Police of Peru for the inaction presented before the actions of this group.
