The activist Andreina Baduel has denounced on several occasions the persecution and harassment against her for complaints about the situation of her brother Josnars Adolfo Baduel, the demand for justice in the case of her father, the late general Raúl Isaías Baduel, and the liberation of political prisoners
Activists and human rights defenders were sympathized with Andreina Baduel, after harassment and an attempt to arrest the subjects not identified after a protest in favor of the freedom of political prisoners.
In A videodisseminated by the journalist Jessica Vallenilla, a subject dressed in black and motorcycle who held the harassment against Baduel, sister of the political prisoner Josnars Baduel and spokeswoman of the Committee for the freedom of political prisoners is observed.
Vallenilla said that after the attempt of arrest the activist was protected in a safe place.
Andreína Baduel He referred to the situation and said that «this is no accident. It is part of a pattern of intimidation against those who dare to raise our voices for the freedom of our political prisoners. They fear the truth, that’s why they attack those who say it. They intend to silence us, but that is clear: they will not achieve it ».
He also indicated that the facts are part of the “repression we face thousands of families in Venezuela, because here not only unjustly imprison our loved ones, they also chase those who defend and denounce them.”
