The organization Red Solidaria Década Contra la Impunidad, which accompanies cases such as the El Charco massacre in 1998, in Ayutla de los Libres, Guerrero, announced that its executive secretary, María Magdalena López Paulino, received a message last Thursday intimidating and threatening
through social networks, for which he demanded that he cease harassment and intimidation
against him.
He recalled that López Paulino has had precautionary measures from the Protection Mechanism for Human Rights Defenders and Journalists since 2014. In this sense, he blamed to the State of physical and psychological integrity
of the human rights defender and other members of the network.
Human rights defenders are not silenced by threatening and harassing them!
he emphasized in a statement.
He explained that through Facebook, a user who calls himself John Titor left a message to López Paulino that said: You don’t even know how involved I am in the forced disappearance of Guerrero Guerra Sucia my case is the second after Lucio Cabañas investigates before believing that you can make me fall (sic)
.
The Network reported that in addition to the El Charco massacre, it is also litigating the cases of Arturo Hernández Cardona, who disappeared, tortured and executed in 2013 in Iguala, Guerrero, as well as Jorge and Gerardo Tzompaxtle Tec-pile and Gustavo Robles López, who were detained in January 2006 by federal police on the Mexico-Veracruz highway, were detained for more than three months and in pretrial detention for two and a half years. This last matter reached the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
