Private emblems announced a new rise in fuel prices. This time it will be between G. 750 to G. 800 per liter.

As it was known on the afternoon of this Friday, some emblems will already apply the rise from this Saturday, others will do so from next Monday.

For its part, Petropar promised that the March increase would be the only one for the entire month.

The increases from February 2021 to the beginning of March of this year add up to 2,900 guaraníes and if the next readjustment is added to this amount, which would be up to 800 guaraníes, the difference would reach 3,800 in just one year.

On February 19, 2021, the increase of 400 guaraníes in the price of fuel was ordered, an amount that had an impact on all sectors, at a still premature moment of the year.

Subsequently, on May 18, the second readjustment was applied, which was also 400 guaraníes per liter. On July 9, a new increase was ordered with the same price, 400 guaraníes just days after the increase in the minimum wage caused by inflation of 4.4%.

Already on October 11, the irrepressible fourth increase took place, which this time was 600 guaraníes on average, after which a fifth increase was feared, which ultimately did not occur.

However, as soon as January 31, it already established a new increase. It was 600 guaraníes per liter.

Since March, the Government ordered a readjustment of 500 guaraníes, under the clarification that the increase would have been higher if the reduction of the Selective Consumption Tax was not maintained.
