The Dina Carrión Foundation celebrated its sixth year of delivering Christmas gifts to the children and adolescents members of the organization who have been orphaned as a result of femicides. The cases they support are those of minors who are going through this situation from 2016 to the present.
“Our beneficiaries enjoyed the sixth delivery of Christmas gifts on a happy morning where each boy, girl and adolescent received their Christmas gift and the grandmothers their Christmas baskets. The Dina Carrion Foundation continues to change lives, helping children to overcome domestic violence,” says the organization.

The foundation thanked all the collaborators who have joined year after year to support minors who also receive psychological support to help them “overcome the cycle of violence.”
They recently announced the start of their “Back to School 2023” campaign, which began with its collection process in the second week of December and will end on January 15 of next year. Said campaign aims to raise funds for the purchase of complete school packages that include a backpack with supplies, three sets of uniforms (blouse, pants and/or skirt), a pair of black shoes, three pairs of socks, a pair of tennis shoes and three pairs of socks for the children who are cared for by the Foundation.
“We are completing the proposed goals, evaluating the achievements of this year 2022, one of these purposes is to continue providing support for children and adolescents to mourn the loss of their mothers, breaking the cycle of violence in their lives. It is not an easy task because we have histories in which violence has been generalized and lived from generation to generation, but we set ourselves goals and objectives, which is to deconstruct the system of violence, this is achieved based on education”, expressed Aída Carrión , CEO of the Foundation.
“Therefore, our purpose is to collect school packages for our children who are beneficiaries,” added the representative of the Foundation.
