They define actions towards the Popular Consultation on February 2

This Friday, from the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements in Caracas, a videoconference was held to issue the guidelines of the Popular Consultation scheduled for next February 2.

The meeting was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado. Also present were the vice president of the National Electoral Council, Carlos Quintero; the vice president of Organization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Pedro Infante; the vice president of Communes and Social Movements of that political group, Jorge Arreaza; specified a report from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

At the meeting, community members from Caracas and the state of Miranda, along with more than 700 people from the country connected via videoconference, received guidelines on this first Popular Consultation of the year 2025, the third to be held in the country.

Previously, this Friday, a meeting was held with the regional directors of the Ministry of Communes and the PSUV, together with authorities from the Electoral Branch to address details about the development of the consultation and the corresponding schedule, VTV reported.

Ángel Prado pointed out that among the guidelines given, the commune communication network was activated and it was reported that as of January 18, the application process will be carried out in the different communes of the country, AVN reported.
