The party candidacy Popular Force for the 2026 General Election has been made official. Through a resolution, the JSpecial Electoral Board of Lima Center (JEE) has declared registered the formula of candidates for the presidency and vice-presidency of the Republic presented by the political organization.
The group is headed by Keiko Fujimori Higuchi as a candidate for the presidency of the Republic, and she is accompanied by Luis Fernando Galarreta Velarde as first vice president and Miguel Ángel Torres Morales as second vice president.
The registration request was presented by the legal representative of Fuerza Popular, Edwin Lévano Gamarra. In addition, it has been arranged that the resolution be published on the Institutional Electronic Portal and on the Panel of the National Elections Jury (JNE) and the JEE of Lima Centro.
With this registration, the formula led by Keiko Fujimori consolidates itself as one of the first to be officially accepted to participate in the next electoral process.
