In the facilities of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Hall, in the Ministry of Popular Power for Food (Minppal), the first strategic meeting of the National Nutrition Plan 2023to strengthen strategies in nutritional matters, for the benefit of the Venezuelan population.
This meeting was held with the presence of the Minister of the Food Portfolio, M/G Carlos Leal Tellería, the President of the National Institute of Nutrition (INN), Marilyn Di Luca, and heads, heads and technical coordinators of the INN, in application of the seven strategic lines of work 2023, to increase the levels of nutrition in the country.
In this way, they developed the strategic lines of the plan, the technical-political update on food and nutrition (food geopolitics, nutritional well-being: salutogenesis in nutrition, nutritional evaluation); status of the Plan Venezuela Free of Nutritional Vulnerability, guidelines and goals for 2023; scientific bases of body measurement, anthropometric standardization and strategies for data validation.
It was possible to know that they also delved into the issue of nutritional education, strategies for the decolonization of thought, in administrative and logistical aspects, the resizing of canteens and Nutritional Education and Recovery Services (SERN); political, research, monitoring and socio-productive aspects.
