They confirm the femicide of a young man from Santa Clara Yeniset Rojas Pérez

MIAMI, United States. — Relatives of Yeniset Rojas Pérez, from Santa Clara, who has disappeared since March of last year, reported this Monday on the death of the young woman.

Iraina Pérez Valdés, mother of the victim, shared in her Facebook account various publications alluding to the tragedy.

“Now you can fly high, Yeny dear! Beautiful girl full of sunflowers. We’ll take care of the monster getting the death penalty. We love you with all our hearts, ”wrote her sister-in-law Giselle Sobrino Leiva.

“Rest in peace. For months you were the sister of many, your mother Iraina Pérez Valdés our mother, your brother Yerandy Fleites our brother and your girl The Girl of all. I only hope that this tragedy changes somewhat the way the murderers are executed in Cuba. Lots of light for you, Yeniset, wherever you are,” said Alegnis Castillo Zamora.

Last week, Giselle Sobrino assured Cuban newspaper that a suspicious of the disappearance of Yeniset had been detained by the Police. On that occasion, the victim’s sister-in-law denied the rumors about the alleged appearance of the young woman’s remains.

“Everything is a lie. There is no body or anything. Police have one suspect, only, and are investigating. But we still haven’t heard from Yeniset,” Sobrino told the independent media.

Resident of Ranchuelo, Yeniset Rojas Pérez was last seen at eleven o’clock in the morning of March 18, 2021 in that municipality in the province of Villa Clara. She was then 33 years old. The case was reported to the Police 24 hours later.
