They confirm serious allegations of torture at the Military Academy

Lawyer Miguel Godoy, ombudsman, confirmed to Universo 970 of Nación-Media, that in the first days of March they received anonymous complaints about alleged acts of torture at the Military Academy.

Godoy added that in this situation, he went to the Military Hospital, where he confirmed that two female cadets were hospitalized as a result of several blows received. They told him that they were permanent victims of physical torture.

These records were forwarded to the Public Ministry. One of those affected even had to leave her military career, due to the psychological trauma caused by the situation.

Also, in recent days, the Ombudsman received a new complaint, this time that of a young man with broken ribs as a result of a beating by cadets from the last year of the Academy.

Miguel Godoy indicated that there is a clear coincidence between the complaints made and the medical diagnoses of these three cadets.
