Deputy Commissioner Mario Vallejos, head of the Anti-Kidnapping Department of the National Police, reported that the minor under 16 years of age and the employee of the estancia located on the border between Amambay and San Pedro, were held at the access gate of the rural establishmentfor approximately six to seven men when they were about to enter a van.
“They moved them to a wooded area, the perpetrators began to talk with the relatives by phone and they specified the payment of 400 million guaraníes to proceed with the liberation”, confirmed Deputy Commissioner Vallejos in an interview with 730 AM.

The police chief revealed that the hypothesis is being handled that the authors would be part of a group dedicated to marijuana plantations. “What they did yesterday is much more profitable than planting and waiting for it to grow,” he stressed.
Clarified that there are no elements to link marijuana users with the criminal gang, which calls itself the Paraguayan People’s Army (EPP).
