They completely supply 578 second and third level hospitals in 23 entities

With the delivery of 838 medications and supplies kits, as part of the IMSS-Bienestar Health Routes, the 578 second and third level hospitals in 23 federalized entities have the complete and guaranteed supply.

From August 26 to 30, the second stage of this strategy was held, which adds to the 10,497 kits that occurred in the first phase that began last Tuesday, August 19.

Health routes is a continuous medication distribution system that reaches 8,61 first-level medical units and 578 of second and third to hospitals and health centers of the IMSS-Bienestar, and will consist of 96 trucks of 3.5 tons, 38 of 1.5 tons, 35 sanitary boxes and 27 refrigerated boxes.

The states that until yesterday had full and guaranteed supply are Baja California, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Mexico City, Colima, Chiapas, Guerrero, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sol Zacatecas.

In a statement, the agency reported that at this stage of supply, the supervision of the progress in the 23 federative entities was led by the general director of the IMSS-Bienestar, Alejandro Svarch Pérez, who inspected the arrival of vehicles of the health routes to the General Hospital of Ciudad Valles and the Community Basic Hospital of Tamuín, both in San Luis Potosí, as well as in the General Hospital Tampico, Tamaulipas, and other health units in the states of Tabasco and Veracruz.

This supply strategy is developed in conjunction with the Ministry of Health and Laboratories of Biological and Reagents of Mexico, the Regional Medical Driving Teams of the IMSS- well-being and a network that connects the stores with each health unit, through logistics routes that ensure timely delivery throughout the national territory.
