The Metropolitan Health Region ordered the closure of a restaurant in the Parque Lefevre area, after confirming that several violations of the health regulations were made at this location.
The medical director of the Parque Lefevre polycenter, Francisco Reyes, explained that to carry out the closure, a sanitary inspection was carried out on April 22 and they concluded in the record 26-280, that the Yeny restaurant committed several sanitary infractions violating all regulations regarding food handling.
Among the faults, he mentioned the cross-contamination of food in the Freezers, the bad odors due to the rotten food inside the refrigerators and the grease traps not working, causing this grease to reach the sewers.
They also found vermin such as cockroaches and other vectors; in addition to handlers without a health card.
Reyes stressed that they called attention to the administrators of the premises to make the corrections on several occasions but they ignored what they made the decision to order the suspension of operations.
This means that the owner has the opportunity to correct the anomalies to opt for the opening of the premises again.
