Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc), after meticulous field investigation work and technical-scientific expertise, arrested Julio Mauricio Camero Romero (23), nicknamed Sanky Pamky, for the murder of Wuilandes José Suniaga Figuera, 30 years old.
The case began as a missing person, after the victim was last seen on October 11 in the Chorrerón sector, Chorrerón parish, Guanta municipality, Anzoátegui, where he worked in a fast food establishment.
After an investigation process, it was determined that Suniaga received a call from Camero and three criminals who are on the run, who requested a delivery service.
Because the victim and the perpetrators knew each other, as the hours passed they went to a mountainous area in the Los Bajos sector of San José, where they were consuming illicit substances; Later, they had an argument and they shot him, causing his death, and then stripped him of his belongings.
In an attempt to cover up the heinous crime, the men burned the victim’s body using a mattress and fuel.
The Cicpc continues its search for the other three criminals involved in the murder of the young man.
The case was ordered by the 26th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the judicial district of the state of Anzoátegui.
