Martha Nelly TS, coordinator of the Enabling Group of the Risaralda Health Secretariat, considered a strict and very cautious official to authorize hiring, ended up involved in a capture that turned out to be a trap to point out that she was corrupt, the Prosecutor’s Office in Pereira was the who verified that the arrest warrant against him was false.

His capture was on December 8 on Avenida Belalcázar at night.

The official had an arrest warrant for the alleged crime of bribery, and that is why that day, it was made available to the URI of the Prosecutor’s Office.

However, from the 20 Sectional Prosecutor’s Office of Pereira they saw that some data was rare, and they verified the order, with a couple of calls they found that the document had been falsified.

Supposedly, the capture had been issued by the 17th Municipal Criminal Judge with the function of controlling guarantees of the city of Bogotá on November 26.

It was also requested by the local Prosecutor’s Office number 318 in Bogotá.

The 20th Sectional Prosecutor’s Office of Pereira, contacted those offices, spoke directly with the judges in the case of Bogotá, Juan Manuel García, replied that he had not intervened in the document.

He told them that it could be a court error, as has happened.

Then, they spoke with the 17th guarantees of Bogotá, where it was established that this arrest warrant was not issued by that office.

Consequently, it was a false document.

Thus, hours later, the civil servant Martha Nelly was released.

The most serious of the case is that the document was uploaded to the page of the National Police.

Possible revenge

According to the investigation by Noticias Caracol, the data of the complainant is related to an IPS that has wanted to enter the department of Risaralda and has not received authorization for not meeting the requirements.

This version was supported in the last hours by the departmental authorities.

They point out that in recent days there has been pressure from third parties before the strict inspection, surveillance and control procedures carried out by the Enabling Group of the departmental Health Secretariat, headed by the official.

As they explain, her function is to guarantee compliance with the law and to guarantee the public health of the inhabitants of Risaralda.

For his part, the department’s health secretary, Javier Darío Marulanda, rejected this illegal capture.

And in turn, asked the authorities for speed in the investigation for the irregularities presented in this judicial proceeding.

Additionally, the Government of Risaralda sent a message of solidarity to the official and her family, highlighting her human and professional qualities.

He also reiterated that permanent and rigorous control will continue, without being intimidated by pressure from third parties.
