With a massive mobilization full of joy and patriotic commitment, workers in the transportation sector celebrated the 35th anniversary of the beginning of President Nicolás Maduro’s career as surface transportation operator of the Caracas Metro.
During the activity, the working class of the Caracas Metro presented an emotional recognition to their son, Congressman Nicolás Maduro Guerra, for the outstanding work of the worker president during his years in the institution.
Upon receiving the valuable recognition for his father, Maduro Guerra highlighted the importance of always keeping alive the spirit of service that his father sowed from the bases three decades ago.
The day that started from the Zona Rental station and ended at the La Paz Metrobús Complex, was led by the Minister for Transportation, Aníbal Coronado, who, together with the railway and surface workforce, claimed the working-class roots of the head of state as the engine that drives the sovereignty of national transportation.
On the other hand, the event was also attended by the president’s sisters, who accompanied the workers along with representatives of the Caracas Metro in this tribute to perseverance and loyalty.
