Two women and a man were captured after being found to be transporting two packages of cocaine that weighed 1 kilogram 345 grams, according to military sources. The procedure was carried out at the Citizen Service Point managed by the Bolivarian National Guard in Capacho, Táchira.
There they detained a Daewoo Nubira, license plate AF134YA, where Franchesca Coromoto Alemán Rodríguez, Zulma Raquel Escalona and José Antonio Pérez were traveling. The two women had the two packages of drugs hidden in their private parts.
The detainees, who belong to the criminal group Los Guanareños, came from Colombia and were heading to the Portuguesa state, according to preliminary investigations.
And at the Simón Bolívar International Bridge, San Antonio del Táchira, the military detained Yessika Gabriela Sojo Rondón from whom they seized 7 panelas of cocaine (1 kilo 425 grams), hidden inside 6 sports shoes that they would take to Caracas.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry.
