Two subjects dedicated to extortion through telephone calls were captured in the Las Américas sector, Simón Rodríguez municipality (El Tigre), Anzoátegui.
A report from the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) states that the detainees are identified as Jhonny Alexander Solarte Pidero and Leudy Eduardo Vargas Sánchez.
These people threatened to kill the victims when they demanded a certain amount of dollars.
Solarte and Vargas were handed over to the Public Ministry for criminal prosecution.
