They caught three with drugs and war material

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard detained three subjects who will be prosecuted for drug trafficking and illegal possession of war material, among others, according to military sources.

The arrests occurred in the La Esperanza sector, Simón Rodríguez municipality (El Tigre), Anzoátegui state, where the military seized six packages of marijuana and six of cocaine. They also seized a 380 caliber Bryco pistol, six 380 caliber cartridges, eight 762×39 mm caliber cartridges, a tear gas device, two telephone sets, and a Bera model 200 motorcycle, without a license plate.

Abdel Camal Romero Campos, Juan José Nádales Guevara and Wilfredo Alejandro Gil Guerra, members of the Los Cairos criminal group, were detained in the proceedings.

These people were handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for illicit drug trafficking, illicit possession of firearms and illicit possession of war material.

A similar procedure was carried out by the military in the Singapore sector, El Callao municipality, Bolívar. There they arrested two members of the criminal organization Tren de Guayana: Cristian Leuner García Damián and Enrique Rodríguez Ramírez.

They seized 18 marijuana wrappers and a hand grenade, model MK2, from the subjects.
