Three men were arrested just as they robbed a public transport unit that was passing through the La Mascota sector, Píritu (Anzoátegui), according to military reports.
The procedure was carried out by members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) who identified the subjects as José Álvarez Moreno, Carlos Eduardo Maita and Aquiles José Arenas, members of the Los Piratas criminal group.
These men possessed a facsimile and two knives. The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry where they were accused of using a facsimile as a firearm.
Also in Anzoátegui, three subjects were arrested, members of the Los Pita criminal group, identified as Julio José Camacho, Ramón Daniel Sánchez and Luis Carlos Villarroel.
These people seized a Tanfoglio pistol, caliber 9 mm, nine 9 mm cartridges and a gray Chevrolet Cavalier vehicle, license plate AB211HW.
