A member of the criminal organization Tren de Mariño was arrested by members of the Bolivarian National Guard who seized a military uniform, among other materials, according to military sources.
The detainee was registered as Johan José Salazar Figueroa, captured in the Santa Marta sector, Mariño municipality (Irapa), Sucre state.
This person was seized 14 7.62×39mm caliber cartridges that fit into rifles and a patriotic uniform belonging to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
The Mariño Train usually places phantom checkpoints on the Sucre tracks to rob drivers. Salazar Figueroa was handed over to the Public Ministry where a file was opened for illicit possession of ammunition, among others.
