Three Colombians and two Venezuelans were captured in the Gloria 2 sector, Jesús María Semprum municipality (Casigua-El Cubo), Zulia’s border with Colombia, according to military sources.
The detainees are: Haydee del Carmen Hernández, Jesús Enrique Jiménez Plaza, both of Venezuelan nationality, as well as Colombians Eligio Calderón Gómez, Mauricio Alberto Daza Martínez and Jhon Jairo Garcés Ascanio, according to the report of Detachment 116 of the Bolivarian National Guard.
According to the report of the procedure, the detainees are members of the Mariscal Antonio José De Sucre Front 33, a dissident group of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), dedicated to the illicit trafficking and trade of weapons of war and financing of terrorism.
At the site, the military seized a cell phone, three campaign bags, a tactical vest, three long-sleeved shirts, two mosquito nets, a mosaic-type green camouflage, a pistol magazine holder, campaign pants, a long-sleeved shirt camouflage, three pants type sports jumpsuit, a tricolor bracelet alluding to the Colombian flag identified with the “Front 33 Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre of the Farc-EP”, a military combat intelligence manual, a stamp alluding to the Front 33, a manual that describes the statutes of the Bolivarian Militia, a written sheet of war material and non-improvised explosives.
