A man who came from Colombia was arrested in Vega de Aza (Táchira) where he later expelled 50 finger cots of cocaine, according to military sources.
The detainee was registered as Yorbis José Hoyo, who was traveling as a passenger from Colombia to Puerto Ordaz (Bolívar).
But in the alcabala located in Vega de Aza, members of the Bolivarian National Guard approached him when they noticed his nervousness. Yorbis admitted that he has drugs in his gut. From there he was transferred to the central hospital of San Cristóbal where they assisted him to expel the 50 finger cots, which weighed 720 grams.
Subsequently, the man was handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a procedure for illicit drug trafficking.
