They arrested him when he was traveling in a public transport unit in Hato Viejo, Nirgua municipality, Yaracuy
The first sergeant of the Army, Reiver José Tarazona Superani, was arrested in Nirgua (Yaracuy) where 65 cartridges of different calibers were seized, according to military sources.
Tarazona is assigned to the Directorate of Weapons and Explosives (Daex) from where he allegedly stole the batch of bullets made up of 25 9mm caliber cartridges, fifteen 12 caliber cartridges and twenty-five 16 caliber cartridges, according to the report.
The soldier was traveling in a public transport unit which was checked at the Citizen Service Point located in Hato Viejo, Nirgua municipality, Yaracuy.
The sergeant was handed over to the Public Ministry.
PNB officials charged
In another procedure, the Public Ministry reported that the six officers of the Bolivarian National Police who allegedly harassed a peasant producer in Guanarito (Portuguesa) were charged.
The defendants are: Rosmer Pinzón, Jonatan Marín, Deixy, Mujica, Kendey Montilla Gueiser Alvarez and Juan Roa.
