A member of the so-called Koki Band, which operated until last year in Cota 905, was captured at the Café Negro Citizen Service Point, Baralt municipality, Zulia, according to military sources.
The man is identified as Franyerson Alexander Rivero Sánchez, who was allegedly one of those in charge of committing homicides on behalf of the criminal organization founded by Carlos Calderón (El Vampi), being its administrators Garbys Ochoa (El Garbys) and Carlos Revette (El Koki). . The latter was killed on February 8 in Las Tejerías (Aragua) during a confrontation with members of the Cicpc.
Rivero Sánchez is requested by the 44th Control Court of Caracas, according to official letter No. 041-22 dated 02/07/2022, file 44CS-682-2022, for the crime of qualified intentional homicide.
At the time of his presentation in the Control Court of Cabimas (Zulia) last Saturday, the subject was verified again and presented three requests issued from the 4th Special Control Court of Caracas for the crimes of terrorism, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated extortion , obstruction of free trade, illicit arms and ammunition trafficking, among others.
In the next few hours, the detainee will be transferred to the Palace of Justice in Caracas for the presentation before the Court that requires it.
