Six members of the El Sixto criminal gang, dedicated to human trafficking, were captured by military agents in the El Caigual sector, Tucupita municipality, Delta Amacuro state.
The first reports indicate that the procedure took place in a gray peñero-type boat without a license plate, where the organizers of the illegal transfer of people were detained, according to a report from the Rural Command Detachment of the Bolivarian National Guard 61-2 to which we accessed.
In that case, the detainees are Antonio Rodríguez González, Daniel Rafael Gómez Gómez, Raúl José del Valle Manaure, Wilmer José Ávila, Alfredo José Rodríguez and José Olegario Migueles Quiñonez, cataloged as members of the structured organized crime group El Sixto, who were dedicated to transport people illegally through the river area, destined for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, according to investigations.
In that same procedure, the military authorities proceeded to rescue 28 people who would be illegally taken to the aforementioned Caribbean island.
In the operation, the military seized two 16-gauge shotguns and fifteen telephone equipment. The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry for criminal prosecution for the alleged commission of human trafficking and illicit possession of a firearm.
Sexual abuser. In another procedure, Gracianni José Fuentes Leiba was captured, who allegedly sexually abused a 16-year-old teenager, according to military sources.
Fuentes’ arrest took place in the town of Guri, Angostura municipality, Bolívar state, according to a report from Detachment 622 of the GNB.
Another person accused of sexual assault was arrested by military agents in the Las Casitas sector, Cruz Salmerón Acosta municipality (Araya), Sucre state, who was identified as Rafael Guarepe Rangel.
