Agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested two men who were intra-organically transporting 117 cocaine finger cots, according to reports.
One of the detainees is identified as Nelson Alirio Bello who expelled at the Central Hospital of San Cristóbal, Táchira, the sum of 50 finger cots that totaled 850 grams of cocaine.
Bello was detained at the Citizen Service Point located in El Carira, García de Hevia municipality (La Fría), Táchira on November 23. He was traveling in a public transport unit from Colombia, bound for Valencia (Carabobo), according to his own statement.
The other investigated was registered as Otniel Josué Bracho Ávila, captured on December 3 at the La Libertad Citizen Service Point, Carache municipality, Trujillo.
From that site, the subject was admitted to the Asesores Medical Clinical Center, where he expelled 67 cocaine cocaine cods with a total weight of 910 grams.
Bracho Ávila was also a passenger in a public transport unit but coming from El Vigía (Mérida) bound for Caracas, Capital District.
Both subjects were handed over to the Public Ministry for criminal prosecution for illicit drug trafficking.
Other seizures
The GNB carried out other anti-drug procedures, such as the seizure of a panela of cocaine that would be sent to Caracas from the Aliados Marbal delivery company located in San Antonio del Táchira.
The panela weighed four kilos and was hidden in an air conditioning compressor.
In the Isla Elba sector, San Fernando de Apure municipality, the military located 26 cocaine wrappers, weighing two kilos 216 grams. Deisis Daniela Bustamante and Javier Omar Rodríguez were arrested for this fact.
And in the La Barriada sector, Pedro Zaraza municipality, Guárico, agents from Detachment 343 of the GNB arrested three drug micro-traffickers allegedly linked to the Tren del Llano organization: Luis Gerardo Zacarías Muñoz (El Cara de Perro), Luis Ángel Jaramillo and Jefferson Jose Valor Garcia.
The subjects were seized the sum of 30 mini-wrappers of marijuana hidden in their clothing and a 22-gauge shotgun, the report says.
