Two men were apprehended this Saturday, December 17, when they tried to rob a company in France Field in the Colon Free Zone.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, Jorge Dominguez, the two assailants with firearms in hand tried to force the person in charge of the warehouse door to open it to steal it, but the alarm went off, which alerted the police who managed to capture the subjects and recover the worker’s belongings.
Finding themselves cornered, the criminals allegedly threw the firearm into a canal infested by alligators.
Both assailants were transferred to the headquarters of the National Police in Colón.
