Squads from the Government of Caracas developed torrentera cleaning work located in San Agustín del Sur, with the purpose of preventing risks in the communities that live in the town, before the upcoming rainy season in the country, as part of the measures implemented by the Bolivarian Government to guarantee the safety of the Venezuelan people .

The workers belonging to the GDC also carried out the cleaning of the Juan Terán ravine, located in the La Vega parish of the capital city, in response to the requests made by the inhabitants of this region, through the different technological platforms created by the National Executive to provide an effective solution to the needs of Venezuelans.
The purpose of these types of measures is to prevent rainfall overflows that can cause blockage and sedimentation of channels and drains due to the accumulation of waste, as well as the decrease in the bearing capacity of the soil, damage to communication routes, among others.
