The Ministry of Education (Meduca), held an induction session aimed at some 200 teachers with positions of directors and deputy directors of schools and supervisors who obtained these positions in the last contest for administrative positions.
The Teaching Technical Deputy Director, Victoria Tello, said that this activity was carried out in order to inform teachers of the different proposals, the work done by the entity and the contributions that can be generated in the work groups.
Functions and role of supervisors, methods and techniques of supervision in education, recommendations to improve school and Reading plans, Comprehensive and Socio-emotional Learning Recovery Program (PRISA), Ester platform, recovery of learning, school organization and guidelines for the school year 2022, were some of the topics addressed in the induction.
Oscar Campagnani, Teaching Technical Deputy Director at the IPT Mexico Panama, said that “we are facing new educational challenges to be able to carry out new strategies and new curricula and to be able to develop the projects that we established.”
For Cirilo Kilié, director of the Alfredo Cantón Institute, “it is an enriching experience due to the intellectual and academic growth of all the teachers who participate in the different contests.”
The Regional Supervisor of Education of the industrial area of San Miguelito, Federico Castro, believes that the activity is an induction process in which all the personnel who have participated in the different managerial supervisory positions can have a vision of the functions that to develop as director, deputy director or regional supervisors”.
