At the Pérez Carreño Hospital, located in the El Paraíso parish of Caracas, the drill was held this Saturday to strengthen the comprehensive defense of the nation within the framework of the Bolivarian Shield of Caracas Darío Vivas Exercise.
Preparation and defense exercises are being carried out throughout the country, in strategic spaces, which will allow, in the event of a real situation, the rapid and organized action of popular power and citizen protection, in a civil-military-police alliance.
The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, explained that the people, the communal councils and the iron cavalry, in perfect union, came out in defense of the health center.
Likewise, Fernández highlighted the importance of the defense of health center spaces by the Popular Power organized to maintain peace and security in public spaces.
For her part, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted that “we are all co-responsible for peace in our capital city, and we will not allow violence and fascism to affect the good life and harmony in this territory.”
“We are the Cradle of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, and with our President Nicolás Maduro at the helm we will continue to win,” he expressed.
