They capture three people requested by the Costa Rican authorities through Interpol

Following an alert issued by the United States FBI, agents from the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office carried out at least 17 raids, in the districts of David, Dolega, Boquete and San Lorenzo, where 10 citizens were apprehended, three (3) of Costa Rican origin and seven (7) Panamanians who are being investigated for Money Laundering crimes.

“As part of the raids at one of the points, it was possible to locate three citizens of Costa Rican nationality who were wanted by the Costa Rican justice through a red alert from Interpol and are under the orders of the competent authorities,” said Octavio Nicolau. , of the Second Prosecutor’s Office Against Organized Crime, noting that these people could be extradited to Costa Rica soon.

Nicolau, reported that the retention of 3 Costa Rican citizens who have a Red Alert from Interpol, for drug trafficking crimes, in addition to another seven (7) Panamanian citizens, one of them also of Panamanian and Costa Rican nationality, who are being investigated for these crimes of alleged money laundering.

Nicolau reported that the confiscation of at least four (4) vehicles, firearms, 50 cattle and other items that are part of the evidence in this investigation process that they are carrying out was achieved.
