Six members of the criminal organization Tren del Llano were detained in Guárico during two proceedings, according to military reports.
Five of the criminals were arrested through a special controlled delivery operation, where they made the subjects believe that a victim of extortion would give them the dollar amount demanded by them, the source explained.
This controlled delivery occurred in the La Esperanza sector, José Félix Ribas (Tucupido) municipality, Guárico, in response to the investigation order MP-271788-2022, for the crime of extortion. When the five subjects arrived to remove the envelope with the foreign currency requested from the extortion victim, agents of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) proceeded to arrest.
In this case, those captured are: Noheangel José Rengifo Lima, Miguel Alexander Hernández Rengifo, Víctor Gabriel García Acero, Johanelly García and Marian José Vidal Nieves, who were dedicated to collecting extortion from producers and merchants in the area, in exchange for not attempt against his physical integrity or that of his family nucleus, according to investigations.
At the time of the capture, the military seized four cell phones, a Ford Fiesta, license plate AB94T0, and an Empire Keeway motorcycle, license plate AH3F36G.
