Police uniforms, in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office, within the framework of the national strategy against child abusers and pimps, capture nine men accused of allegedly subjecting minors between the ages of 8 and 13 years old.
The operations were carried out simultaneously in urban and rural areas of the municipalities of Montería, Lorica, Sahagún, Chinú, Necoclí (Antioquia) and Coveñas (Sucre).

In these operations, the uniformed officers made effective the arrest warrants, issued by municipal criminal courts with guarantee control functions, for the crimes of abusive sexual act with a minor under 14 years of age, and abusive carnal access with a minor under 14 years of age.
The victims of these crimes would have been minors between the ages of eight and 13., and whose aggressors, by gaining their trust, took them by force and sexually accessed them. The events occurred in the year 2021 and so far in 2022.
According to the police report, one of the assailants had apparently posed as a religious leader to commit acts against a minor of only five years in the urban area of the municipality of Lorica, where several similar cases have been registered this year.
