In a rapid operational reaction, the Metropolitan Police of the Aburrá Valley managed to capture two men, aged 21 and 30, in flagrante delicto, moments after they assaulted two citizens inside a commercial establishment in commune 14, El Poblado. According to the official report, those captured intimidated the victims to strip them of three gold chains, whose market value amounts to ten million pesos. This was stated by the commander of the Metropolitan Police, General William Castaño Ramos. The officer highlighted that during the procedure not only the jewelry was recovered, but also the seizure of a firearm and the immobilization of the motorcycle on which the criminals intended to flee.
