Two criminals who stole money and accessories valued at more than Bs 14,000 were apprehended For the police. The incident occurred at dawn on May 20, in an electrical appliance store, located on Isabel la Católica avenue, La Ramada area.

The owners of the violated business denounced that the stolen money reached the sum of 12,800 bolivianos, was stored in a safe, object that was stolen by criminals. In addition, other accessories valued at more than 2,000 bolivianos, making a total of more than Bs 14,000 of loss in the store, product of theft.

The departmental commander of the Santa Cruz Police, Colonel Erick Holguín, indicated that the robbery occurred at 5:00 in the morning on May 20, 2023, the time when the antisocials, realizing that there was no ccirculation of people on public roads and in business premises in the La Molina building, proceed to give the ‘curtain’.

“They break the padlock of the curtain that is the entrance to the commercial premises, they enter and proceed to subtract 12,800 Bolivians. He theft was recorded by security cameras,” he explained.

He explained that the mode of operation of the two antisocials was, one kept watch while the other violated the padlocks, once their mission was achieved they entered the business premises and stole the money and valuables.

“We have them fully identified, one is JAvier Chávez Zabala and the other, Leonardo Ángel Crespo Manzoni, the latter is an elderly person who has a leafy criminal record for theft, robbery on different dates, between 2018 and 2023,” said the police chief.

Crespo Manzoni has at least least four criminal acts attributed in his background, but they do not rule out that he is the author of other robberies. “Through the review of cameras, the relationship of the two antisocials is established, we are going to verify if they are involved in other criminal acts,” said the commander.
