They call for a new march of Generation Z on November 20

With the motto “Mexicans to the war cry”, on the X Generation Z Mexico account, a new mobilization was called.

“States that wish to participate, same starting and ending points as on November 15,” was called, so in Mexico City the new demonstration would have as its starting point the Angel of Independence towards the Zócalo.

The new call seeks to express, as in the case of Saturday’s, the demand for security, justice and freedom.

Around 17,000 people participated in last Saturday’s mobilization, marching from the Angel of Independence to the Zócalo in Mexico City to demand that the federal government change its security strategy, punish corruption and justice for the murder of the mayor of Uruapan, Michoacán, Carlos Manzo.

In the Zócalo of Mexico City there was a confrontation between protesters and security elements that left more than 120 injured and 40 detained.

President Sheinbaum spoke about this second call in her conference and asked not to fall into provocation and violence.

“Again I tell you, we must not fall into provocation and violence, and all those who are promoting it are doing very harm to the country. And they are harming themselves, so do not fall into provocation,” said the president.
