A new controversy is added to the president’s list peter castle and it is due to the construction of an informal heliport that his parents would have ordered to be built on the land, in Chota (Cajamarca), according to the Fourth Power program.
The Sunday newspaper pointed out that the landing strip, located exactly in San Luis de Puña (Tacabamba district), has been in operation since April of this year and that the president would have used it twice to visit his closest environment.
In this regard, no state entity is responsible for said construction, the report noted.
The press secretary of the Government Palace, Rodolfo Idrogo, indicated that the work was about “an embankment made at the request of the relatives of the president and neighbors with multiple purposes for the community, there is no state investment”.
In the same way, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) denied having information on the esplanade and the Ministry of Defense were not aware of who built it.
While the mayor of Tacabamba, Walter Agip, maintained that he is unaware, but since it is an informal construction it has been set up “on private property and, therefore, you can build what the owner pleases”. In addition, it is not expensive, “nor it costs a lot, I guess about S / 2,000″.
However, a farmer mentioned that the machinery for the construction of the heliport was from the municipality.
