Santo Domingo.- The director of plans and operations of the J3 Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Rafael Antonio Núñez announced that the physical construction of the perimeter fence on the Dominican-Haitian border will begin, which will be divided into two phases, one that will cover 54 kilometers and another 164.
The officer clarified that since last February 21 they have been working on the construction of the work in topographical technical works.
Similarly, he indicated that the authorities have already agreed with the owners of the area to begin the process of lifting the fence.
