They assure that Petro will bury the Lima cartel

The member of the Permanent Commission on Foreign Policy of the National Assembly, Saúl Ortega, indicated that with the assumption of Gustavo Petro in Colombia, the peace agenda, relations with Venezuela will be guaranteed and, above all, it will allow “to bury the Lima cartel, a grouping that went against the agenda of Latin America and the Caribbean, which wanted to recolonize and turn this part of the world into the backyard of the United States.

I think we are burying that unhappy mission.”

He stressed that it is important that an agenda for peace be assumed and it is hoped that this agenda can be established when Colombia has another administration in opposition to interference. “It’s clear, prosperity is coming for both nations.”

Tanus: binational relationship will favor the economy

“Relations with Venezuela are required and necessary for the Colombian economy,” said the director of the Association of Colombians in Venezuela, Juan Carlos Tanus.
During an interview on VTV, he maintained that the elected president, Gustavo Petro, intends to create more than 80,000 jobs in the border area.

In addition, he referred to the case of the Venezuelan company Monómeros, which in his opinion was seized. “Justice must find those responsible for Monómeros and return its function and control to the Venezuelan State,” he pointed out.

Finally, regarding attention to migrants, he pointed out that the dedication of the two governments will allow people to return to their country.
