The arrest warrant facing Senator Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez was canceled one day before voting on the reform of the Judiciary last September, revealed the circuit magistrate, Juan José Olvera López, who asked the Veracruz Prosecutor’s Office to make the reasons transparent. for which the criminal action was withdrawn.
In the so-called conference of the judges, he explained that on September 9 the state prosecutor’s office went to the common jurisdiction judge to request a private audience
which was granted to him on the same day.
In the proceedings, he explained, the Veracruz Prosecutor’s Office asked the judge to cancel the arrest warrant against the former PAN member, because He had new evidence that revealed that the events for which he had requested it had not occurred.

The request was resolved immediately and that occurred, he added, one day before the session on September 10 began to discuss the judicial reform, which was finally approved at dawn on the 11th by Morena and allies, with the decisive vote of Yunes Márquez, who had been charged with the crimes of apocryphal document, procedural fraud and falsehood before the authority.
The federal magistrates, Olvera López, Edna Hernández Granados and Juan Carlos Ramírez Benítez, endorsed the decision of the control judge Óscar Luis Lozada Hernández, assigned to the trial and oral criminal procedure court in Xalapa, and at the same time insisted that the Prosecutor’s Office of Veracruz must explain the reasons why it withdrew.

The magistrates reiterated their demand to make transparent the information of the registered candidates of the evaluation committees of the Executive and Legislative branches. Likewise, they questioned that Minister Lenia Batres has registered on the Executive committee and not the Judicial Branch.
It seems to me that for her it was logical, it was the obvious one, because if we look at her training, her development, her background, she necessarily had to choose that path; Furthermore, let us not forget that the selection methodology is through political means.
