They ask the CGR for information on the status of María Corina Machado before the electoral process

The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), José Brito, requested from the Comptroller General of the Republic on June 26, information on the status of María Corina Machado, regarding her participation in an electoral process.

In this sense, the deputy indicated that “if both she and others are disqualified, they have to be responsible to the country, here some ‘after me, the deluge’ cannot apply. I ask you as a deputy and as a citizen, that the Comptroller’s Office indicate the status of Mrs. Machado and later of the rest.

“Those who are disabled cannot put their personal and individual position above the collective interest. I urge those who believe they are disabled to come and review their status,” he added.

He indicated that he requested this information as a citizen, as a voter “and I also speak as a person who aspires to lead this change. Here you have to speak clearly to the country, both one sector and the other, the leaders of this country have to speak clearly to the citizens, we cannot keep a country in anguish”.

“Here there can be no hidden agendas, we could be configuring a new political shortcut or a real option for change,” questioned the deputy, while he reiterated the request for information before the Comptroller’s Office.
