
After Jorge Rodríguez’s announcement about the release of political prisoners, the relatives of the metropolitan police officers convicted for the events of April 11, 2002 asked that the officials not be forgotten. Héctor Rovaín, Erasmo Bolívar and Luis Molina have already spent 23 years in prison.

The three officials are being held at the Fénix Penitentiary Center, where they were transferred on October 21, 2021, from the Ramo Verde Prison.
