The Legislature of Buenos Aires approved this Thursday, during the ordinary session, a request for reports promoted by the Front of All to the City Government on the plan called “Green Streets”, announced to be implemented in several neighborhoods from cCut traces to transform them into recreation spaces.
The initiative was presented by the legislator of the Frente de Todos Berenice Iáñez and aims to learn in detail “the studies previously carried out on traffic and that involve the urban landscape linked to the streets in which intervention is planned.”

“We also consider it pertinent to provide details on possible impacts on pedestrian and bicycle mobility, as an alternative mode of travel,” added the deputy in her request.

In this regard, Iáñez pointed out that The intention is that the local administration “provides details on the studies carried out and specify how traffic will be mitigated after interventions in public space”.
